Are you living in Kansas or Oz?
I know that we have said for a long time that we are not in Kansas anymore, but it becomes more apparent with each day that we no longer are operating under the rules of Kansas. Even when we keep trying to pull the Kansas card in the face of difficulties, some part of us knows that it will not get us anywhere. Oz is a whole different place and we need to learn to live by the rules of Oz.
First of all Oz is a magical place where the unexpected events challenge us to use all the tools we have been learning over the last 10-20 years. The solutions to problems never come from the outside anymore. We can only find the answers inside as we draw on our higher minds, our hearts, and our courage to follow the inner yellow brick road to inner wisdom.
Second, in Oz we need to work together to resolve what comes up. We cannot do it alone any longer. We have all practiced separation and fear for decades in Kansas. Neither work in Oz. So let go of your ego that says you have to be independent and join hands with your neighbors and friends to make change in the world. Freedom is found in collaborative efforts not solitary success. Start living from Oz and find that wizard within!
